Recent Work

Below are some of the websites I’ve worked on recently, with a bit of information about how I helped and some of the most important needs of each business/website.

Purebred Mini Jersey Society

The Purebred Mini Jersey Society website was originally created on a visual editor with limited features and increasing hosting costs. The organization grew to the point that the website needed more features and automation while keeping costs in check. I helped PMJS move all the website pages, blog posts, products and reviews. Then I reorganized the navigation menu, and added new features such as a membership program to automatically manage access to members only areas, an events calendar and a site wide search feature.

Highway Homestead

I helped Cortney and Samuel move their homestead website from a visual editor hosting plan that was costing them too much in fees. We moved over all their pages, products and reviews. Then we updated the photos on the website, and added an online course they created, as well as an affiliate program to help with marketing the course. Cortney and Samuel took over maintaining their website and have continued to add more digital products, and have reached out to me on occasion when they were stuck with something they wanted to do on their site.

Circle of Rights

I am currently helping this non-profit update their website to allow visitors to make donations, which can be one time or they can sign up for an ongoing monthly donation. I am working with all the existing written content and adding more engaging content to their website, such as a calendar of upcoming events and photos and videos of past events.

Hayes Humble Homestead

In this case the only help I provided was getting the website hosted with low cost hosting and email service and installing the content management system. Brooke created the entire website herself!

Holistic Homesteaders Hub

This site was made with most of the content hidden until a visitor makes a purchase to gain access.

EC Wear

EC Wear has gone through a number of updates over the last ten years. The latest version includes easy to navigate options for different colors and patterns of the various clothing items, as well as videos showing how the clothing works for EC.

Better with Thyme

This is my family farm’s website. From here I put into practice everything I recommend to clients. Since I’m using all the same software myself to run my business, I know how it works day to day. For example, we use shipment tracking and back in stock notifications for seasonal items we ship. We have an online course that we sell, which also gives students access to a members only area. We integrate with our mailing list platform, Facebook and Instagram and much more. If there’s anything you’d like to do with your website, I’ve likely given it a test run!
